Curriculum

The school has the 10+2 pattern of education and follows the scheme of studies prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi, to which the school is affiliated.

Requests to parents

Parents please be co-operative with the school paying attention to their children's progress and keeping them regular, punctual and disciplined.
Parents should check daily bas, homework, diary, school notice, remarks, circulars etc.
Provide facilities for studies at home.
Assisting and guilding in doing
Depositing fees as per rules in time.
Don't critises school or schoo staff infornt of the child.
Any communication made by the parents should be addressed to the Principal and not to the class teachers.
Progress report will be sent to the parents after every examinations. Parents are requested to go through the report carefully and return it within two days, duly signed.
Any amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Should you feel or notice that your ward is not making the desired progress, kindly see the principal.

 

Withdrawal from the school

A month notice in writing is required for the withdrawal of a pupil.
Transfer Certificates will be given only to those who have paid the fees and other dues.
A pupil leaving the school in the middle of a term must pay the term fees and other dues.
Honesty, cleanliness of person and dress, good manners and health are demanded of each student and any one not conforming to the school ideals in these matters amy after consultation with his/her parents will be asked to leave.
If a pupil is found unfit to continue in the school he/she will be removed from the rolls.
Misbehaviour, cruelty towards other children, irregular attendance, disrespect to teachers, habitual idleness , stealing etc are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a pupil.
The school reserves the right to dismiss students whose fees and other financial dues are not paid in time.

Rules of conduct
Students should attend the school wearing the prescribed uniform
The school uniform should be clean, full and well dressed. Students who are not smartly dressed may be send home.
Students should assemble class-wise for the Morning Assembly.
Every student must behave respectfully towards the members of the staff.
Every student shall have with him/her the textbooks and notebooks required for the class he/she attends. No newspapers, periodicals, comic, etc other than school books shall be brought to the school.
Home assignments shall be done regularly and carefully and submitted at the appointed time.
The school premises and surroundings should be kept neat and tidy. Unwanted paper bits should be put into waste paper baskets.
A student's behaviour should be gentlemanly at all times and in all places, both inside and outside the school. No shouting or whistling is permitted.
No student's shall enter or leave the class after the lessons has begun without the permission of the teacher.
No student shall enter or leave the class after at work on the flimsy plea of taking a pen pencil or book on loan from his friend.
Jewellery must not be worn in the school.
All are expected to speak English in the school premises, School bus and bus stops.
Students should have respect for School property; they should not scratch or damage school furniture, write or draw on the walls.
Stendents shall neither borrow nor lend money nor exchange articles.
Playing in classrommsand on corridors is strictly prohibited.
Parents are requested to see that their children (boys) come to school with proper haircut. No boy with long hair will be allowed in the class.
When passing along corridors during class hours students shall keep silence.
Pupils should be polite and courteous and greet their teachers.
Pupils should cherish the sweet memories of their happy school life with love and gratitude and speak well of the school.
Pupils should abjure cheating and stealing.


Visiting Hours
The school does not encourage parents to meet their wards during school hours. The school also does not encourage parents meeting the teachers directly in the class room or the staff room or waiting for them in the hall/corridors.

In case of emergency parents must get permission from the Principal to meet the teachers. Interviews with the Principal may have from 2.00 p.m to 3.00 p.mon all working days.

General Rules
School is a sacred place and unnecessary talkingin the school is absolutely forbidden.
Every student of the school is expected to be courteous in talk and behavior at all times.
Every student shall have with him text books and note books reqyired for the classes he attends.
All assignments shall be regularly done and submitted and got corrected by the teacher.
Any act of the pupils which adversely affects the discipline or tone of the school will be viewed seriously.
Any damage done to school property or that of other pupils will have to be made good.
Pupils are not allowed to enter nother classes even during the interval. Pupils should not move about at the time of prayer and National Antheme. They shall observe strict silence at the assembly.
Every student must take part in school games and other activities unless rendered medically unfit or exempted by the Principal.
Leave for half day should be avoided.
Perfect silence is to be observed in the laboratory, library and in themorning Assembly.
On all school days and for all functions pupils should wear the school uniform only.
Personal cleanliness and tidiness is expected from all. They shall not throw bits of paper in the school premises. Scribbling on walls, doors, And windows is strictly prohibited.
All school rules and regulations are subject to modification in the interest of all the pupils and school.

Transfer Certificate
Application on the prescribed form for TC duly signed by parents/guardians should be given in the school office at least one month in advance, A student should clear all dues upto thedate of withdrawal before the issue of T.C.


Health and Hygiene Rules

Students are advised to take bath every morning.
Nails & Hair should be trimmed regularly (hair-cut compulsoey for boys).
Girls are tp plait their long hair or keep them tied up-Hair should be free from lice.
Students should come to school in neat uniform with clear socks and well polished shoes.
Hands to be washed before and after eating. A habit of bringing clear water bottles and napkins to be developed.


Criteria for Promotion
For promotion to higher classes the following criteria will be followed:
For the pupils to pass, they have to obtain 40% marks in each subject with 45% aggregate.
Classes IX – The pupils will have to satisfy pass criteria separately in cumulative total and exam.
Fees: Fees will be received in the school office from 8 a.m to 1 p.m. only. No fee or monetary transaction will be done by the school office after 1 a.m.
